Fire Safety Regulations – Campsite

1. General information

  • There is an increased risk of forest fires throughout the campsite
  • Every guest is obliged to play an active part in preventing fires
  • You must follow the instructions of the campsite staff at all times
  • Escape and rescue routes must be kept clear at all times

2. Prohibitions

  • Open fires of any kind are prohibited (campfires, fire bowls, candles outdoors, etc.)
  • Barbecuing is prohibited
  • Smoking in woodland and vegetated areas is prohibited
  • Emergency generators must be supervised. Their use in tall grass or similar areas is prohibited
  • Discarding cigarettes, cigarette ends or smouldering objects is strictly prohibited

3. Behaviour to prevent fires

  • Flammable materials must be kept away from heat sources
  • Park vehicles only in designated areas (fire hazard from hot parts)
  • Do not store highly flammable substances outdoors
  • Children must be made aware of the dangers of fire and must be supervised

4. What to do in the event of a fire

  • Keep calm
  • Alert the fire brigade immediately (emergency number 112)
  • Give the location of the fire as precisely as possible
  • Warn other guests
  • Bring anyone at risk to safety
  • Only attempt to extinguish the fire if it is safe to do so

5. Fire safety equipment

  • Fire extinguishers are located at the marked points
  • Fire hydrants and water supply points must be kept clear
  • Equipment must not be damaged or removed

6. Consequences of non-compliance

Breaches of the fire safety regulations may result in the following consequences:

  • Expulsion from the premises
  • Claims for damages
  • Reporting to the authorities
